Dear Readers of Writing Words,
There's a new writer around, and I will do my best to revive this blog. I don't claim to be an authority on anything, all I want is share with you what I think helps me develop as a writer. Some of these things may work for you, others you may consider useless - whichever it is, let me know.

Thanks for stopping by! It was brave of you to post your first ever short story. I have posted some of my work before, but none of my early stuff - I was too scared back then to find out what others think about it. Putting your writing out there is the best way to find out what works and what doesn't, tough, so well done.

... writers DO write, in the shower, on the toilet, at dinner time, at the movies... they are always scribbling down their ideas and thoughts... some would call it a disease, others ... pure delight.
Me, I couldn't live without tapping out my thoughts every now and then...and, the only way I know how to do anything, is to take the first step and ...'just do it'!

you are right, true writers write wherever they are. But every now and again, some of us need a little reminder that you can't call yourself a writer unless you write. I thought I'd make myself useful
