April Fools Writing Challenge
April 2nd 2010 19:27
I'm at least a day late to remind you that the April Fools writing challenge is about to start. Obviously, it started yesterday but it's not to late to jump in there.
The good thing about April Fools is that you set your own goal. If you want to write 2000 words a day, that's fine. If you want to write 100, that's fine too. For example, two years ago, I wrote the final part of my 2007 NaNoWriMo novel in April. In 2007, I edited the first draft from the previous November.
So every participant works towards a different goal and there's a likeminded group of fellow fools to hand for encouragement and support - an ideal combination.
